The school has had many successes in water polo in recent years. The U16 team have won the ESSA National Championships in 2009. The under-18 team have been national champions on two occasions, the most recent in 2008.  The team has had numerous players selected for representative honours at Midlands, England and Great Britain levels. One of our pupils is currently captain of the Great Britain under-16 team and three players are representing England Schools under 18s in 2009.

The school has teams for all age groups and matches take place on many Sundays during the winter terms. Although we aspire to national excellence, water polo is available for all boys no matter what their previous experience.
