From Birmingham New Street station, take a train to University (a five-minute journey, the second stop from New Street on the Longbridge or Redditch services). As you emerge from University station, turn left and walk 800 yards straight across the university campus, keeping the clock tower on your right. At the far side of the campus, having passed between the Guild of Students and the Barber Institute, is a pedestrian crossing which takes you across Edgbaston Park Road and to the school's main drive.

By bus

From Stephenson Street in the city centre, take the 61 or 63 bus. Alight 2.5 miles later on the Bristol Rd at the end of the grass central reservation of the dual carriageway, on the left there is Bournbrook Fire Station. Cross the Bristol Rd by the pedestrian crossing and walk 200 yards up Edgbaston Park Road. The entrance to the school's main drive is on your right opposite the entrance to the university and the pedestrian crossing.
