During any particular week at KES the amount of music being performed and indeed written is little short of remarkable. There are twelve musical ensembles in all, including orchestras, bands and choirs. All boys are warmly encouraged to take up a musical instrument, either taught by their existing instrumental teacher at home, or by one of our 24 visiting instrumental teachers. Learning an instrument, or joining an ensemble, are not compulsory, but the experience is very rich and strongly recommended.
