King Edward\'s - IB World School

The school has today been granted the status of an IB World School by the International Baccalaureate Organisation. This is the final stage in the move toward the International Baccalaureate Diploma which will replace A Levels in the school\'s curriculum from September 2010.
John Claughton, the Chief Master, said: \'This is a historic moment for the school and, after three years of exploration and preparation, we are delighted to have been accepted as an IB World School. We are all very excited to be embarking on this new challenge which will change fundamentally what we provide for our boys in the Sixth Form.\'
