King Edward's School Home

An independent day school for boys aged 11 to 18

Cross-country

Cross country teams represent the school at all ages, and the sport is a games option in years 11 to 13. KES teams compete in the Birmingham Schools Cross Country League. Individual runners regularly achieve high rankings in the Birmingham Schools' Individual Championship. In recent years, Tim Griffiths has won, and then retained, the Birmingham Individual League Title beating the record times for all of the courses along the way. We have had a number of high quality long distance runners.
